The national fire heritage museum at McDonald Road Community Fire Station opens for Doors Open Day from 10am to 3.30pm, with five galleries of historic fire engines, equipment and artefacts telling the story of Scottish firefighting. Visitors can climb aboard appliances in the courtyard and meet serving crews from the station.
