The Chesterfield Canal Trust starts the year with New Year's Day cruises, including a full day trip on John Varley II from Tapton Lock to Staveley and back covering ten miles and twelve locks. Shorter trips run on Madeline between Hollingwood Hub and Tapton Lock, with all cruises booked in advance through the Trust.
