Foxton Flight Illuminations

The ten-lock staircase flight at Foxton is decorated with festive lights from late November until New Year's Day. The 2026 launch is on Friday 28 November between 4pm and 8pm, with the illuminations switched on at the Top Lock cottage at 5.30pm; lights then run nightly from 3pm to 6pm through to New Year's Day. Launch-evening highlights include a Christmas market, Santa's grotto and live music around the Foxton Locks Inn, plus a best-decorated boat competition among boaters on site. A separate Illuminated Boat Festival with a boat parade and pyrotechnics follows on 17 December.
