King Alfred Autumn Country Bus Day

King Alfred Autumn Country Bus Day has finished for 2026. It ran Sun 13 Sep 2026 at St Catherine's Park & Ride, Garnier Road, Hampshire.

Events like this are usually annual. We have not yet had next year's date confirmed by Friends of King Alfred Buses (FoKAB) — once it is, we will update this page and add it back to bus & coach events. Get the weekly email and you will hear about it as soon as it lands.

The Friends of King Alfred Buses run their preserved 1950s and 1960s King Alfred Motor Services fleet on rides out into the Hampshire countryside from St Catherine's Park and Ride, held as part of Heritage Open Days. A vehicle display runs from 10.30 with vintage bus services through the afternoon and a shuttle to the Broadway in the city centre.
