Legends of Industry Gala at the Tanfield Railway

The Tanfield Railway's premier industrial steam gala on the world's oldest railway, dating from 1725, with industrial locomotives hauling Victorian carriages and demonstration freight trains between Sunniside and East Tanfield. Dates for 2027 have not yet been announced; the 2026 event ran from 19 to 21 June with six home fleet engines and guest Avonside Dora.
