South Devon Railway Winter Steam Gala

The South Devon Railway traditionally opens the gala year with a winter steam gala along the Dart Valley between Buckfastleigh and Totnes in early January. Dates for 2027 have not yet been announced; the 2026 event ran from 2 to 4 January with guests including Hunslet 1589 Newstead and Bagnall 2572 Judy from the Bodmin Railway.
