Carnival & Steam Event at Papplewick Pumping Station
Carnival & Steam Event at Papplewick Pumping Station has finished for 2026. It ran Sat 19 – Sun 20 Sep 2026 at Papplewick Pumping Station, Rigg Lane, Nottinghamshire.
Events like this are usually annual. We have not yet had next year's date confirmed by Papplewick Pumping Station Trust — once it is, we will update this page and add it back to canal & waterway events. Get the weekly email and you will hear about it as soon as it lands.
The Victorian waterworks runs its 1884 beam engines in steam for a carnival themed weekend with family friendly shows, interactive workshops and live music. Classic and vintage vehicles are also on display in the grounds, open 10am to 4pm each day.
