Grand Finale Steaming Weekend at Crofton Beam Engines
Grand Finale Steaming Weekend at Crofton Beam Engines has finished for 2026. It ran Sat 26 – Sun 27 Sep 2026 at Crofton Beam Engines (Crofton Pumping Station), Wiltshire.
Events like this are usually annual. We have not yet had next year's date confirmed by Kennet & Avon Canal Trust — once it is, we will update this page and add it back to canal & waterway events. Get the weekly email and you will hear about it as soon as it lands.
The final steaming weekend of the 2026 season, with both Cornish beam engines in steam and pumping water to the summit pound of the Kennet and Avon Canal from 10am to 4.30pm. On the Saturday evening a separate ticketed steaming and stargazing session runs from 6.30pm to 10pm.
