Santa Special Trains at Midland Railway Butterley

Steam-hauled Santa trains depart Butterley station in decorated heritage coaches, with Santa and his elves visiting every child at their seat, a cookie delivered to all passengers and a gift for each child. The trip includes a Pinxton Puppet Show in a heated marquee and an animatronics tableau display, and private compartments seating up to six can be booked. The full 2026 date list is published when tickets go on sale in late September 2026; the organiser's calendar currently shows running from late November.
