The Great Central Santa Express at the Great Central Railway
Santa Express trains run from Loughborough Central on selected dates from 28 November to 24 December 2026 along the UK's only double-track heritage main line. Children receive a Christmas activity pack and a gift from Santa, with a drink and treat on board, while adults get an Irish cream liqueur and a warm mince pie, and the return leg includes a 25 minute Santa stop at Leicester North.
