The Lapland Express at the Downpatrick & County Down Railway

Northern Ireland's only full-size heritage railway runs its Lapland Express from Downpatrick to Inch Abbey and back, about 45 minutes with Santa, Mrs Claus and elves on board. The 2026 programme is advertised for weekends from 28 November to 20 December, with festive snacks and drinks included and a plush toy present for every child.
