The Polar Express Train Ride at the Churnet Valley Railway
The licensed Polar Express departs Froghall on selected dates from 7 November to 23 December 2026, heading up the Churnet Valley to collect Santa for the return leg. The train ride lasts about an hour with hot chocolate, cookies and performers on board, and around 90 minutes is suggested for the full experience.
