The Polar Express Train Ride at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway

The railway's licensed Polar Express experience departs Bolton Abbey station on selected dates from 13 November to 24 December 2026, replacing its traditional Santa trains. The roughly one-hour round trip includes hot chocolate and a cookie served by dancing chefs, golden tickets punched by the conductor, and a silver sleigh bell from Santa for every child.
