An officially licensed Polar Express theatrical train ride departing from Platform 2 at Edinburgh Waverley station, run by Holdham Events. The on-board show lasts about an hour, with hot chocolate and cookies served during the journey and a visit from Santa, in Standard or First Class seating; allow 1.5 to 2 hours in total. Runs in November and December 2026, with exact dates shown in the online booking system; as a mainline departure, times can move up to an hour either way.
